focuses on creating, managing, and executing the aspects about church and make disciples and produce mature Christians. Discipleship ministries at exponential online assist with upholding the vision and mission of our church. It also provides an avenue for members to be united as they make disciples who make disciples who are transformed by the message of the gospel of Christ, as they are connected through biblical community, and living out God‘s mission in their lives. The discipleship ministries of XO are broken down into six functional areas;

Engagement with the Scriptures

XO creates opportunities for pre-Christ followers and Christ followers to come in constant contact with the Scriptures through Bible studies, small groups, e-groups, preaching, Vlogs, blogs, podcasts, and various other means of engaging the Scriptures. All of these activities will be age appropriate.

Outreach

XO Will involve her members in strategic ways of reaching out to those who do not yet know Christ. These outreaches will make it necessary for members to engage, love, and minister to their communities throughout the world. XO Creates a multiplicity of ways for Christ followers to share their faith with pre-Christ followers in ways that will not be offensive nor off putting but will display the love of Christ. In order to accomplish this goal members will be trained, equipped, and sent in to the world to make a difference on behalf of Christ. XO Will create multiple outreach events annually that causes Christ followers to engage their community with a message of the cross of Christ.

Connectedness 

 XO seeks opportunities to connect with those who either visit us as guest, regular attenders, or join us as members. It is our desire to make you feel like family from the very first time you visit us all the way through to you becoming a part of us. We implement ways for believers to engage one another on a spiritual level and a personal level. We really do believe that people do not care how much you know until they know how much you care.

Equipping

XO believes that one of the primary functions of leaders and churches if the equipping of Christ followers to carry out the mission of God. One of the ways that exponential will equip the Christ follower is through the discovery of spiritual gifts. We believe that every believer has been given at least one spiritual gift from the spirit of God. It is with this understanding that we endeavor to be a gift-based ministry. We believe that in the local church every member needs to find a place to serve utilizing the spiritual gifts that God has given to them. We believe that if a believer serves in the area where they are gifted they will not experience disengagement I’ll burn out because they will be doing what God has created them to do.

Volunteerism

XO believes that the local church is primarily ran through the participation of volunteers. Volunteers or our foundation for how to get ministry accomplished. We have learned how to celebrate those who devote their time and energy to the advancement of the kingdom of God. Because of this understanding XO is always seeking opportunity to train, mentor, and develop volunteers in a manner that will be all the volunteer and create an environment for everyone to flourish.

Shepherding

XO take spiritual authority very seriously. We believe in the priesthood of the believer and seek opportunities to embed it in our churches culture. We do not believe that shepherding is Only for the professional but that God has gifted every believer with influence which allows them to Shepherd or nurture another believer. This can be seen in the way that parents Shepherd their children In order to create an environment where the children can flourish in the Christian faith. We believe that God has called all of us to shepherd someone.

Discipleship is an all consuming concept at XO, however, the fruit of discipleship can change a generation.
